Impact Dance Company dancers Brett Bell and Kristina Hernandez will perform “Let me Leave,” a duet about a couple coming to terms with the fact that their relationship is failing and that they need to let go and move on.  Chien-Hwe Carol Hong /1,000 Virtues will performed a solo work in progress and a duet.  Sharon Montella will present a new urban contemporary group work to premiere at “The Hatch” in NYC April 21st.

Zoe Dance will present “Echo,” a dance/video projection piece.  “Echo” utilizes looping of time to create a world in which the dancer is commenting upon what she has experienced in the past to create a surreal world in which her multiple “selves” play out a scenario of confusion and distortion.

Jennifer Lin of JenLin Dance creates work centering on the Asian Diaspora and examines social constructions of culture and identity.  Anna Reyes will present two short improvisational works in collaboration with Jordan Maley, partly spontaneous and partly exploring pre-composed musical and movement ideas.
