KAIROS Dance Theater choreographers DeAnna Pellecchia and Ingrid Schatz explores the intense dynamics that are cultivated in relationships between women from the on-set of adolescence. “That Girl and The Other One” depicts the interactive landscape between women and their struggle to exist in a culturally ‘look-obsessed’, ‘competitive’, ‘jealous’ environment.
“Stone and Whispering Pages”, an inter-generational dance work created by Kelley Donovan & Dancers explores, through a sharp and soft sensuous vocabulary, development of a finite amount of movement material.
Cambridge Dance Company’s Push, Not Pull explores the idea that the more support and motivation that exists behind an idea or movement, the more powerful and profound it becomes.
